Meet the Physiotherapist
Attila BajusMSC.PT, BSC(kin)
Attila graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Physical Therapy and from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Human Nutrition. Since graduating, he has completed his Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Certification from McMaster University. Attila is devoted to lifelong learning and has also completed certifications in concussion management, completed his level 2 upper advanced manual therapy certification through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and is a sports first responder through Sports Physiotherapy Canada. He has experience treating a variety of patients from the general population to the elite athlete level and strives to provide an evidence-informed approach to rehabilitation and performance.
Attila’s treatment philosophy is strongly grounded in knowledge transfer, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and optimization of movement. He is a strong believer in treating the person and the cause instead of centralizing on just the injury. This is evident in his comprehensive, neuro-functional assessments and treatments as they focus on the individual’s goals, lifestyle and capacity. He is an advocate for multidisciplinary collaboration and teamwork so that patients get the overall quality of care they deserve.
Attila is a competitive individual who is consistently challenging himself physically and mentally. In his spare time, you will most likely find him strength and conditioning at the gym, on the field participating in recreational sports, or in the woods hunting, fishing, and hiking. Attila also enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading about finance, and trying new things.
