Body Composition Analysis
A body composition analysis measures the proportion of fat to fat-free mass in the body.
This quick assessment is very valuable to track the changes within the body. Whenever we measure our weight, it is impossible to distinguish muscle from fat. When we start exercising, we may have the same weight, and this could happen because muscle is heavier than fat. As you get stronger, you put on a little bit of weight.
This is the reason why tracking your weight may not be the best method in tracking progress.
