The program was carefully developed to enhance accessibility to medical services through an affordable and private alternative to the public healthcare system. Becoming a member of our program means your health will be protected. It offers timely access to medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions or other health-related needs when you need it most!
Our medical program is also intended to facilitate access to those on a waiting list for far too long. We offer limited enrollment to ensure a high quality service with minimal wait times.

Our medical services are offered through nurse practitioners who unfortunately, cannot bill OHIP. The monthly cost of our medical program gives you access to our nurse practitioners as one of the benefits of the monthly membership. The fees we collect are used to cover the salary of our medical staff. Without the monthly cost, it would be impossible for us to offer this program.
Nurse Practitioners have met extensive additional education, experience in the field and exam requirements set by their College. They are authorized to diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication and other treatments. Our team has been carefully selected with the skills and competencies required for any primary healthcare service. You can rest assured that our medical team has all of the tools necessary to support your needs. If you are in doubt about your specific situation, give us a call and we would be delighted to schedule a phone with our Nurse Practitioner or administrative team to discuss your concerns.
Our private medical clinic operates independently from government-funded or publicly funded healthcare programs like OHIP. The fees for private clinics are usually covered through private healthcare insurance or out-of-pocket. Private medical clinics can provide various healthcare services, including general medicine, specialized services, vaccinations, minor surgical procedures, and much more.
The advantage of our private medical program is that we can control the amount of patients we enroll in order to minimize long wait times and dedicated attention to our patients. Additionally, our appointments range from 15-30 minutes, giving you enough time to truly express your concerns. Finally, the biggest benefit of our program is that with our limited enrollment, we intend to closely monitor our patients and make recommendations that prevent disease and improve our health as we age. We hope to help our patients prevent disease rather than tackling the problem once it has already presented.
This is very person dependent. We do recommend and strongly believe that multi-disciplinary clinics, such as Ottawa Health, have an advantage due to our collborative nature. We believe that a variety of experts working together as a team is more effective than seeing sole providers. It is important to assess your needs and look for a facility that can assist those needs.
Our program provides access to all primary health care services. This includes annual exams, health screens, blood requisitions and much more. Additionally, all members of our program will receive a complimentary nutrition and musculoskeletal assessment.
